In what manner have we responded when we hear a prayer,
identifying ourselves to God as His sons and daughters ?
Not often do we hear this kind of prayer being prayed here.
And why is this?

We are His sons and daughters, are we not?
If we truly have believed in Him.
So why not? Why aren't we,
praying to Father God to claim we are HIS sons and daughters, and declare out loud?

Read on.
For here, you will find it in bible study.
Just that we need to be abiding and be constant in it, holding unto the boldness God places into our heart to witness for Him, in Him and by Him.

God's Love is universal.
We call Him Father God with all our heart, all our mind, and all of our soul,
believing in Him in His Spiritual Adoption of us all, in case we have forgotten.
Have we been exercising this son-ship of believers in God?

Turn with me to 1st John 3:1;
" Behold, what manner of love the Father Hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called sons (and daughters) of God ".
And in verse 2;
" Beloved, now are we the sons ( & daughters ) of God ....."
" And it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when He Shall Come, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He Is " !
Praise The Lord. Hallelujah !

Believe in God's Love of our Father in His Spiritual Adoption of us all,
and hath us granted son-ship that we ought put into practise.
Do not withhold or doubt it, for this will be our reward at advent.
And isn't that wonderful to be given a heavenly vision that we just received?
Have we perceived it?

To be more clear to you, please read Revelation 22:4
His Face we shall see and His Name
shall be inscribed onto our foreheads to reach right into our hearts !

God Is Light.
Therefore there shall be no nights there. No such darkness as we suffer here on earth.
And we need no candles, nor electricity, or even the light from the sun, because our Lord Jesus Christ Giveth Light, and we shall reign with Him forevermore. Amen.

This Revelation of our lord Jesus Christ is so vivid and clear, yet not many of us bother to read or have seriously read it and believe in it.
So sad isn't it that we live in such irony.

This is our Lord in His Book of Revelation telling us what is to come !
He gave a dictation to His servant John who suffered for The Lord at Patmos.
John was rewarded in his suffering to be blessed with such powerful vision of God in His Judgement Day. And John received first hand divine revelation from The Lord that we ought to desire for. Not just material blessing that we ask of God all the time. Ask for spiritual blessing the most important of all. The former so temporal while the latter so much more beneficial as being everlasting.

Hear what Lord Jesus is saying to us now !
" Behold, I AM Coming soon " !
" And I Shall bring My Wages and Rewards with ME ", proclaims our Lord.

See ! Our Lord is going to come to give us what we deserve.

Reward and/or Reproach.
Just be mindful of what Lord Jesus wrote to the Seven churches.
Which category out of the seven do you and i belong?
Have we lost our first love for Him?
Are we lukewarm, neither hot nor cold The Lord will spit us out of His Mouth?
Will we be sent to the wine press?
Or be thrown out as trash?
How do we stand?

Our Lord Jesus 2nd Coming is imminent, there is no escape for any of us.
All will be divinely judged. And the judgement will be according to
what we have done or not done and our level of faith in Lord Jesus.

Our actions and/or inaction, will be the result of either reward or reproach from
Jesus Christ our Lord Whom we must serve now with a god fearing spirit in us.

The fullness of time is at hand, sadly some among us have yet learn to fully respect time to be punctual, to recognise the time facing us.

So let us be mutually admonished in today's sharing. Everyone and anyone is welcome to share. Just that we need to share out of love. For God Sees our heart as we learned from bible, " God from His Heavenly Throne, Can See deep right into the heart of man ".

Among all else, if we just heed 2nd Chronicles 7:14 and claim verses 15 and 16; already Pastor Timothy has helped us in reading out loud before each time he begins with his sermon. So let us believe in confident trust in our Lord Jesus Christ that we shall gain right to the Tree of Life and will have our name in the Book of Records in the heavenly places.

Praise be our Lord God Almighty.

Kalau kamu ingin bicara, Dia pasti mau mendengarkan.
Sebenarnya Dia bisa tinggal dimana saja di alam semesta ini,
dan Dia memilih hatimu.
Terima saja sobat, Dia tergila-gila padamu!
Kayak nya mungkin kamu susah sekali percaya bahwa Allah mengenal namamu.
Dia benar benar mengenal namamu (Yes45:3-4) .
Tertulis ditelapak tangan-Nya,diucapkan dengan mulut-Nya,

TUHAN YESUS, INI OWE, A CONG....

Ini sebuah kisah nyata yang menarik dan menyentuh. Ada seorang laki2 paruh baya, umur 50 tahunan. Ia dipanggil A Cong. Miskin harta, tetapi jujur dan tekun. Kejujuran dan ketekunan itu mendapat perhatian seorang pemilik toko material di daerah Glodok, Pinangsia, Jakarta . A Cong diangkat menjadi CEO (chief exec.officer) atau penanggung jawab penuh toko tersebut. Usaha material itu meraup sukses luar biasa.

Sedemikian sibuknya A Cong di toko itu melayani pembeli, sampai ia tak sempat makan dengan teratur. Bahkan tidak jarang ia makan sambil tetap melayani.

Tetapi, di tengah kesibukannya, setiap jam 12 siang ia menyempatkan diri berlari ke sebuah Gereja di dekat situ. Dan itu ia lakukan tiap hari, sudah lebih dari tiga setengah tahun.

Sampai pada suatu hari kecurigaan seorang pastor memuncak .. ! Ia telah memperhatikan dan mengamati fenomena aneh ini di Gerejanya. A Cong datang dipintu Gereja, hanya berdiri saja, membuat tanda salib, lalu segera bablas lagi.

Ritual itu setia dilakukan A Cong, tiap-tiap hari, itu-itu saja. Adakah udang dibalik batu??? Jangan2 ...... Romo yang penasaran itu mencari kesempatan menghadang si A Cong, dan bertanya tanpa basa-basi lagi : Maaf, Cek (panggilan menghormat bagi laki2 Tionghoa), kenapa Encek saben hari datang jam 12 begini, cuman berdiri aja di pintu, bikin tanda
salib, terus cepet2 pergi?" Kaget, si A Cong menjawab tersipu: "Hah?!...
Lomo, owe ini olang sibuk, owe punya waktu seliki, tapi owe seneng dateng kemali."

Jelas, Romo belum puas dan terus mendesak: Emangnya apa yang Encek lakukan di pintu gereja gitu?"
Jawab A Cong dengan polos: "Ngga ada apa2. Benel Owe cuman bilang ini doang: Tuhan Yesus, ini owe, A Cong. Uuudah .."

Terbengong, hanya "Oh....!" yang bisa dilontarkan sang Romo. Dan A Cong pun bergegas kembali ke tokonya.

Pada suatu hari A Cong sakit parah karena super sibuk dan makan sekenanya, tidak teratur. Komplikasi penyakitnya cukup berat sehingga ia dilarikan kerumah sakit. A Cong bukan orang kaya, maka ia menempati kamar kelas 3, satu kamar dihuni 8 orang pasien. Sejak masuknya A Cong, kamar itu menjadi ceria, penuh canda tawa.Tak terasa 3 bulan sudah A Cong
dirawat. Ia pun sembuh dan diperbolehkan pulang.

Ia gembira, tentunya, tetapi teman2 sekamarnya bersedih. Selama dirawat itu, semua sesama pasien dihiburnya. A Cong setiap pagi menghampiri teman2 pasiennya, satu per satu, dan menanyakan keadaan masing2. Sayang, sekarang A Cong harus pulang dan kamar itu akan kembali sunyi.

Akhirnya salah seorang sesama pasien mencoba bertanya: "Eh, Cek A Cong, mau nanya nih. Kenapa sih Encek begitu gembira, dan selalu gembira, padahal penyakit Encek ' kan serius?" Acong tercenung dan menjawab "
saben ali yam lua welas, yah, ada olang laki lambut gondlong dateng, megang kaki owe, dia bilang: A Cong, ini aku, Yesus Kristus. Gimana owe nggak seneng, coba..."

Be Prepared in the Way of the LORD !

Beloved Brethren,

The WORD of GOD says,

"Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low, and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways be made smooth. And all flesh shall see the Salvation of GOD" Luke 3 : 5-6.

This will be the wonderful time that our LORD hath promised us when we will be set free of our captivity, that we will be no more strangers in a strange land as sojourners temporary residents on earth. For all who come to HIM unto repentance shall witness the Salvation of GOD the Almighty.

Dear brethren, in order that this precious Divine Revelation of our LORD JESUS CHRIST is fully appreciated by all, "Selah" meaning let's pause for a moment and seek HIM with reverential fear and ask HIM for the true meaning of the WORD and how THE WORD speaks to us each individually, shall we?

For GOD takes me as i am, james yap, as you are, each and everyone of you; with a contrite heart and broken spirit in order that GOD WILL use me and whoever willing among us, TO BE USED, be make vessel (clay vessel that we are), meat for the Master's use, unto HIS Honour and for HIS Glory and not ours but HIS and HIS Alone!

Especially when we witness among us a dear brother and a dear sister who recently have lost a very dear loved one through cancer, their birth father and father-in-law.

Let's join hearts together with the bereave family to stand with our two dear brother and sister in CHRIST; brethren of ours, in joy and grieve and sing our praises in HIS Name because we are actually sending off the chosen one of GOD who IS NOW IN HEAVEN where JESUS says, "Today, you are with ME in Paradise" this dear brother of ours who fought the good fight of faith, had not denied GOD our LORD JESUS but has endured till the end while in UH most of you have visited; Praise the LORD our dear brother now is in no more tears, no more sorrow for his tears are being wipe away by JESUS HIMSELF, Amen.

Brethren;

Herewith is to practise what i have learn during my Bible study in the Holy Place church, AZUSA Congregation, CA., USA.

What's The Attribute of A "Spirit-Led" Church-Leader?

To begin with, i like to share what he or she is not.

1) Not a novice

2) Not a proud person but humble and meek and strong in the faith

3) Not an "escapee" escaping from responsibility

4) Not inconsistent but constant

5) Not faint hearted or chicken hearted

6) Not unprepared to be w/o "oil"

7) Not ashamed of the Gospel of CHRIST

A church leader if truly spirit led, is able to willingly render unto HIM his/her absolute surrender to our Master JESUS CHRIST, and divine Teacher that requires teachableness in our heart w/o half-heartedness on the part of this church leader but with a whole heart, an enlarge heart as the Psalmist say.

A leader must be able to submit unto total submission in order to learn and to enrich himself/herself to "spiritual matters" unfounded if there is disbelief in him or her.

A leader will always have to be a firm decision maker after consulting God in his/her faithful praying hours, however unpopular or strange the decision may be. Remember God uses the foolish things on earth to confound the wise, the so-called worldly wisdom.

A leader mustn't think that because he/she with help, registered a church to declare that he/she is the permanent chairman/chair woman.

That's vanity and folly in his/her behaviour.

A truly spirit-led church leader is not a man-pleaser nor woman-pleaser he or she may it be.

The Church is of GOD and for GOD and in GOD, this church leader must help the congregation to understand this truth in order to be able to progress, not to be worldly.- in corrupted thinking.

The appointment of church council members must be fair ( no favouritism) by the Body in fair balloting by all bona fide church members, proxy votes must be stringently verified; that a church leader with his team of comrades-in-arms are accountable and responsible to God; must be led by this church leader in seeking GOD for divine revelation before even thinking of venturing into so-called "mega" project or "mega" church when it's the heart, a true and pure heart the our GOD demand of us as HE See right into our hearts from HIS Emerald Throne.

A church leader will service with all heart, body and soul in being spirit led unto long-suffering, patience, endurance, etc., the 09 Fruit of the Holy Spirit as the key motivation because GOD says, "judge your brethren by his or her fruit - what kind of fruit but the FRUIT of the HOLY SPIRIT.

That's the true meaning of the WORD.

You are lonely and yet not lonely on the "top" if you are truly spirit led you church leaders. You can be forsaken by loved ones, friends and relatives, country men (and women) yes all that but you will never be forsaken by God for HE WILL never forsake HIS OWN. The Key word here is

Are you or are we truly HIS? As the steps of every good man (and woman) are ordered by GOD. Question now is are we good in the sight of GOD?

Are we upright with HIM?

Are greeting each other like this as an example,

"What's your spiritual standing with GOD today and every day"?

Are we talking all the time about worldly cares?

Or shouldn't we be spreading the message that PEOPLEs NEED THE LORD !

EVERYWHERE and all the more in America, Satan's domain in same sex marriages, women with women locking lips in public and men and men hand in hand in full public view.

Eph 5 : 14 - 21 pointing out to us church leaders and his/her congregation be awake from spiritual sleeps. (1st Thess. 5:6)

Dead means dead in the spirit alive in sins doing dead-works (Col 2:13)

Let CHRIST be the Beacon Light in your church leading (1st John 2:8)

Walk a believer's walk.

Redeeming the time

Identify this is evil time that we live in church leaders accountable to vigorous leading of his/her congregation members, doing to the least of our brethren even non-members, visitors, the fatherless (of our heavenly Father); the orphans (of having not our heavenly father) ignorant in the Presence of God not able to even recognise that GOD is dwelling among us, as in Emanuel GOD with us and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us and for us if we would just allow the gentle Spirit of JESUS GOD HIMSELF ON THE THRONE in the ONENESS OF GOD a SINGLE THRONE profoundly dictated unto us through John the reveller the GOD used at his old age in the Isle of Path-mos after taking to heart the divine assignment from JESUS at Calvary in taking care of Mary the vessel of GOD being sanctified and glorified by JESUS in one of HIS last seven (07) divine sayings of JESUS on the CROSS

Be bold when coming to the preaching of GOD's WORD with power, understanding with the authority given to this spirit led church leader with the anointing fire from above.

Do GOD's Will not in drunkenness of worldly living in pleasure seeking but be filled with the Holy Spirit seeking first the kingdom of GOD and HIS Righteousness and all these thing will be added unto us in our ministry, His ministry of reconciliation reconciling man (and women) to GOD (Vertically hand stretching out towards heaven) reconciling man to man and women too, (on the horizontal plane), in joy and praise unto our LORD the REDEEMER of our souls.

All church leaders must aim high for spiritual fullness (Col 1:9)

Talk spiritual talk and walk the Walk with GOD.

Give testimony because all preaching needs your life testimony in support of your ministry.

Singing new songs in thanks and thanksgiving with contentment of heart in serving our Living GOD and Coming King.

Be in humility and total submission in rendering what is to GOD and of GOD.

Check the pre-requisites in appoint church deacons in reference to the Bible one such useful reference is in 1st Tim 3:8-13

Deacons are to be in (i) SOBERNESS

(ii) ABSTINENCE

(iii) TEMPERANCE

(iv) AVARICE

Fully comprehensive of the Mystery of CHRIST with a good conscience and godly experience in blamelessness.

Even a Deacon's wife must be worthy of her position not to be like a slanderer but like her husband must be sobre too if not more in support of her husband faithful in her Fidelity.

Polygamy is strictly forbidden.

As in 1st Tim 3 : 8-13. deacons need all the time be having the right attitudes in godliness and with reverential fear in the LORD and for the LORD.

Only godly man or woman will have the divine understanding from above in the mystic secrets.

Another bible relevant verse in 1st Tim 4:9-16

Deacons must also be able to teach, preach and counsel using GOD's Wisdom not man's so-called wisdom that GOD is not interested in how wealthy, how knowledgeable, how popular nor how presentable.

Deacons should cultivate gifts in perseverance, responsibility, accountability in soul winning for the Holy Spirit of JESUS WHO is in FULL CONTROL.

Deacons may suffer reproach at times.But we have to fix our hopes on JESUS our Living GOD Who is our Saviour in guiding church leading to teach and to admonish when necessary bring out the /truth of GOD's WORD without fear of man or favour of women.

Be a good model of CHRIST in CHRISTlikeness and CHILD likeness.

In GOD we stand, without GOD we all fall.

Brethren:

Let's take in O.T. examples for contemporary Christians like ourselves shall we?

This is for us ordinary laymen (& women too), and i am referring to the dear sisters in this mailing list.

Now, let's go back to basic, invariably, we are back to Bible characters, and in this instant, let's concentrate on the following well-known figures that we have learnt on human weaknesses as well as qualities. That's right, each of us make in the image of God possess quality that we can tap on.

1) ABRAHAM : is both strong and weak.

You will surely "oppose" to "hear" me say this. But hear me out dear brethren. Abram showed his weakness when he was unable to face his challenge in representing himself as protective husband over his own wife.

Fearing for his own safely he had exposed wife to possible "contamination" when GOD already prophesied that a son is being bless to a cold womb that will be cold no more; that will bore Issac the promised child from GOD.

He exposed Sarah to tremendous danger for molestation or even forced impregnation GOD Forbid! So GOD intervened and save the near disaster.

And why was this blessing (of a child in her cold womb) delayed? Simply because Sarah mocked GOD. Yes she did. She laughed (giggled to be more correct); She had not repented when the Angel of GOD rebuked her?!

Not only was the husband wrong, the wife too.

So husband don't ever you dare to say your wife is your sister okay?

2) JACOB : is a conniving one, a more conflicting character.

Deceitful because of the mother, yet he was strong in wrestling with GOD and received a new name that we will all do from GOD if we make it to JESUS Who will bear us all a name only GOD know and we know too when we come to it at the end of our journey of faith.

3) JOSEPH : This favourite son of Israel (Jacob) is the strong character in Faith favoured by GOD And in essence, we learnt that because of his total obedience and absolute surrender unto the Will of GOD, he received blessing superabundant, because Joseph was like JESUS blameless even when he was blamed, pure even when he was "crucified" has a heart of gold just like JESUS has forgiven all those who persecuted him.

4) MOSES : is the graduate from "Egypt University, the Prince of Egypt (means nothing to GOD); Humbled by GOD for 40 years in the wilderness as shepherd until the appointed time meeting GOD at the burning bush the manifestation of GOD at His Holy Place where GOD specifically commanded to "take off thy shoes for you are standing on holy ground".

We all knew how mightily Moses was used by GOD.

5) JOSHUA : (in point forms)

GOD's most effective general at war with good works in leadership divinely blessed by GOD when he declare "as for me and my family we will serve GOD"!

6) RUTH : is the beloved daughter of GOD in her gentle spirit with a gentle but powerful strength confessing to her mother-in-law "your GOD shall be my GOD"; earned her reward from JESUS Who hath honoured her.

But the other daughter-in-law? Never even mentioned again in the Bible because this daughter had not recognised GOD to receive GOD as her Saviour.

7) SAMUEL : A man of God in difficult times

8) King David : GOD's blue eye boy because of his utter faithfulness not meaning he is sinless but just the contrary David sins are many and far more serious breaking 05 out of the total ten Commandments of GOD.

David was spirit filled and seek GOD in his unceasing prayer lifestyle unto GOD in submission and obedience. Doesn't mean we cannot sin, we all are sinful in nature.

9) ELIJAH : a strong brutal man of GOD for brutal times

10) ISAIAH : A man of judgement and hope

11) JEREMIAH : more than just a crying prophet we commonly called him; he is truly a GOD-Please not a comprimisor. Suffered much for GOD.

12) ESTHER : IS TRULY A FINE CLASSIC FEMALE VIRTUES, PERFECT EXAMPLE OF STEWARDSHIP IN BEAUTY.

Revelation 22 : 12 - 17

God says; "Behold, I AM coming soon! MY reward is with ME, and I WILL give to everyone, according to what he/she has done (or not done)......... a (due) Reward................."

JESUS is truly our Life-giver and also the Soul-taker.

JESUS never fail. HE never slumber; 24-7-366 HE watch over us, and see right into our hearts.

HE WILL never forsake HIS own.

Therefore be sure we are HIS and HIS Alone!

Hang on there, for HE IS coming soon.

Remember, what the Word of God says, "HE Hath a reward for each and everyone of us with our name on it......."

All we have to do is to receive it and remember also brethren;

God's reward come to both good and bad depending on our good or bad works.

A good reward for us is to remain faithful to JESUS as HIS bride supposedly to be; HE being our heavenly Bridegroom.

So wait upon JESUS as like the 10 virgins; however as JESUS taught us already; only five (05) of the ten (10) are faithful, remember?

Stay faithful therefore, hang on there!

Never give up on our LORD and Saviour. Be like the 05 wise virgins.

Do not be foolish to be without oil meaning.... stay in the intimacy with our JESUS Lover of our souls.

Hang on there okay? We mustn't give up right?

It may seem long, i know, like a long road ahead of us but at the end of the "dark tunnel" is our silver lining, the Beacon light that never fail;

(my last sharing, remember) ?

" In just a very little while.....", ( that is time in heaven - one day; and how many days it'll be on earth, we already know how to calculate ) !

HE never forsake HIS OWN, Great is HIS Faithfulness and jy bets his life on that.

Let's ask GOD to knit our hearts together in one accord, supporting each other in prayer, lifting each up in the Name of our Lord CHRIST JESUS, Ya Shua Messiah WHO SAVE and Redeem souls unto HIS Own Pleasure.

KNOW that GOD know what is in our hearts; Hearts is what GOD want from us, a WHOLE heart, with single mindedness, obedience better than sacrifice unto HIM and HIM only WHO is a Jealous God ! Which groom would not be jealous if the bride/brides turn unfaithful?

Be dedicated unto HIM in loyalty and faithfulness unto the heavenly Bridegroom Who is coming to betroth us as His bride - the church !

So do well Church !

Hang in there CBC; even FBC ,more so the first church!

FAITH , HOPE , and CHARITY the Bible says, the most important of the three is LOVE (Charity) !

So, let's " Agape " brethren.

Pentecost

On the day of "Pentecost" = "Pente" means "50"; bringing it to its 50th day after our Lord's ascension to heaven, as JESUS instructed His hand-chosen disciples (not just twelve but more); there in the gathering of God's children; the atmosphere of their waiting upon the Lord was charged with the excitement of the feast day - Pentecost - also known wheat-harvest festival like the "Gawai" in Sabah, or "Camarau" in the highlands of the Philippines; a festival of harvest. This festival during JESUS' period was celebrated on the 50th day after the Passover.

On that particular "Pentecost" as God promises, a powerful anointing came upon God's people; something divinely powerful came into their midst and it had the sound of a powerful mighty wind; as like a mighty storm sweeping out of heaven filled up the whole upper room where gathered are the chosen ones and they saw the resurrection power of God suddenly appeared 9am present clock timing.

What an awesome and divinely inspired sight for them all - the privileged ones headed by Peter who was delivered of his guilt in denying our Lord three times as in our Lord JESUS' divine prophesy.

Tongues of Holy Fire that distributed among them, the Fire came from heaven that did not burn but rested upon each of their individual heads! How amazing and amazingly awesome - the powerful anointing from GOD.

Baptism by Fire just as in John the Baptist's prophesy!

Yes John who was used to pave the way for JESUS' three and a half years' ministry on earth for our salvation!

The Powerful Force which none of them had ever seen before, revolutionising the entire world; surged within them, the company of disciples immediately knew that their lives will never be the same again but permanently changed by God in His divine mercy! Just as it with james in the Holy Place!

JESUS told His chosen ones to go forth baptising in HIS NAME - JESUS CHRIST, preaching in His Name to all nations as soon as they were clothed with the resurrection power from on high!

The dramatic coming of the Holy Spirit of GOD JESUS.

The Bible clearly illustrated, "In His Name"; The Name OF Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and what is this Name?

In JESUS"s Name were signs and wonders prevailed as God promises!

Now Peter and all the rest of the true followers of Christ were truly transformed

vessels unto honour, meat for the Master's use.

And on the fiftieth day after Lord JESUS' ascension unto His former Glory and Power in the heavenly realm, HE upon this 50th day, the day of Pentecost; JESUS descends in the form of God's Holy Spirit, and whosoever opens his or her heart to receive CHRIST have the Holy Spirit dwelleth in them thus fulfilling the Word of God in Holy Scriptures. GOD with us the Emmanuel JESUS CHRIST our Saviour and Redeemer; GOD WITH us!

Dwelling in us the "temples of God" our bodies;

Hallelujah! Glory to God!

Yes, i am suffering, but seeing the greatness of this divine plan for me from the Lord, i begin to rejoice in my sufferings. Yes, it's true brethren, i am not kidding you. Because this plan by which God hath made for my good, is built together with Christ our Lord. It's no joke following Jesus. Since He had suffered much for me, much more than i i can possibly imagined myself have suffered or still suffering, what is it compared to the Lord's heavy sufferings for all of us on the Cross?

No wonder the Apostle Paul could declare that all that he (Paul) suffered could not be compared to the Glory of His imminent 2nd Coming, no longer as the Lamb of God but as our Divine Judge.

Therefore, i say, jy can do no less but will willingly and submissively bow his knees before Jesus at His Judgement Seat also His Merciful Throne, in front of Abba Father Who is Lord God Almighty Jesus Christ our Redeemer and Saviour !

What's a Believer Total Surrender?

For the Lord's sake and in His glory, let's agree to agree in this case.
Let's reason with one another in open-mindedness okay?
And not close-door or narrow-mindedness. Let's reason it out okay?
All of us want to go to heaven right?
We want to be saved with our Lord, agreed?

And we do know that it requires us to worship Him in truth and in spirit. We are know that regardless we are in CBC or HPc; the fact lies in Scripture that we are supposed to acquired already the fundamental foundation of a believer in Christ in coming our Lord under His Wings in total surrender that becomes a responsibility to us in our accountability to God, our Father in heaven.To be filled with the Spirit and be led by the Spirit, as the Bible taught us, only then, we can be sure we are truly children of God to Whom we give our absolute surrender.

I support my statement thus far not with too many Bible verses (unlike the past), but just these two, so that you'll Find them (two verses only), that you may be more readily to accept, right?Acts 2:4 and Ephesians 5:18 are the two verses that i humbly bring them to your attention okay?Now begins our reasoning together; The 1st verse is a narrative given to us what hath taken place, agreed?The 2nd verse however, is a command from above. Do you all agree?

Jesus our great Teacher spoken of it to us in saying, "IF", yes the big question"if" !!We say we love Him, we ought to have no problem in keeping His divine commandment, logically agreeable, right? " Keep MY Commandment " !
That what Jesus said !" Be Filled with the Holy Spirit " !!
Let's reason then, do you try to obey His Command given directly to us from the Lord for our own good? Sure you do, because you'd already agreed not to disagree but agree, "Unless two agree"the book of Amos, right? Surely you would not want to miss out in receiving God's blessing, do you?Therefore, everybody can agree to that now ! Right ?
O yes, you would undoubtedly response, " Of course, as a believer I obey His Command ".

Good, you are getting closer to the truth.
But what if i bring to your attention to the reminder of His Word :- " Be filled with the Spirit " !?

Is that our present daily living? Have we truly obeyed His commandment?One way to gauge this truth is ; upon how much we are willing to sacrifice for the Lord in total submission and absolute surrender unto Him our lord and Saviour. Do we truly submit our daily living to His Will ?Like David submitted even if he is king, the man who was able to touch the heart of God. Why?Absolute surrender and total submission unto Jesus, to gain the divine favour of God in receiving and accepting David's many prayers through Psalms !So, the choices are in ourselves, to be or not to be; "Smoking or Non-smoking"; and i mean it in the Scriptural sense brethren!Smoking...we burn in hell ; but when we wisely hath chosen "Non-Smoking" meaning chosen the narrow way to Jesus; then, we enjoy not only very clean air and environment in at least standing in the chance to gain entry into the Kingdom of God where's there's no night there!But in hell, not only eternal death and eternal burning but total darkness we'll be in our present living!Let's reason for a conclusion for our discussion topic today."Fear God" !That's the beginning of wisdom (from above); got nothing to do with the wisdom of this world or worldly wisdom that the Bible pointed out !For a moment now, okay?

Let's put away our varying notions about the filling of the Holy Spirit. But concentrate in pressing on in the realisation of the specific truth that God has this for all of us, His divine counsel ;" My child, I want you filled with the Spirit" !!!Let's our prayer be okay, "Abba Father, i want it Father the Spirit of our Lord Jesus in us forever, Abba; i am ready Father; i humbly yield myself unto you Lord Jesus our everlasting Father! Come and fill me now, by the Power of Thy Holy Spirit Who is the gentleness of our Lord Jesus Christ, in out absolute surrender and total submission to Thy divine loving instruction blessed unto us and i thank Thee with all my heart in gratitude and reverential fear, my Lord and my God"!Dear brethren,with that i close praying that you are bless; that you are god fearing and last but not least; filled with the Spirit of God until overflowing.

ATONEMENT

My very dear Brethren,

The Bible taught james not to be selfish.
So, in applying what i'd learnt, i share these Bible "riches" with you all.

Note the subject in the above.

The meaning "At-one-ment" = the state of being at one and/or being reconciled.

So, Atonement really means Reconciliation.

It is used to denote the effect which flows from the (resurrected) death of our Lord Christ Jesus.
The word also is used to denote that by which this reconciliation is brought about, viz., the death of Christ in His divine conquering power in His Resurrection.
When the word atonement so used, it implies "satisfaction" of our souls. In other words, to make an atonement for someone (in its Gospel Truth), is tomakesatisfaction for the offences of us all, Bible references are Ex 32:30 ; Lev.4:26 ; 5:16 ; and Num.6:11 for examples.which as regards the person or persons (ourselves), to reconcile is to propitiate God in Hid behalf !
By the atonement of our Lord Jesus Christ, we now understand His Work by which He expiated our sins and the sins of the whole wide world !

Remember, the Bible already expounded for our understanding, that atonement denotes reconciliation itself !
Therefore, words used by theologians of the Reformation is to be preferred to the word "atonement" "satisfaction" ought to be understood Christ's satisfaction in all that He performed on earth in the upper room and in behalf of all sinners to satisfy the demands of the "law" of God and the Justice of God.

Because our Lord Jesus' great works on the Cross at Calvary consisted of Hid divine sufferings same time His obedience demonstrated to us to follow the examples of not just the Perfect Man but as God Elohim, El Shaddai, Yahveh, Yah Shua Messiah.....these titles of our Living God go on and on and on!

Atonement is therefore not merely for our benefits but in our stead foremost as the sufferings and obedience of our Saviour substituting us in dying for us while we are yet sinners.
We should not live anymore in guilt therefore because our guilt is expiated by the punishment which our dear Lord in His merciful and kindness bored for us all. God is rendered propitious, i.e., it is now consistent with His justice to manifest His divine love to transgressions. Because expiation has been made for sin, i.e., it is covered by His precious blood that flowed on Calvary.

So dear brethren, touch lives in each your individual ways as you testify for the Lord as you understood now our Lord Jesus Christ's mediatorial work and sufferings are the ground and efficient cause of reconciliation with God as it does rectify the disturbed relation between God and man (& woman), taking
away the obstacles interposed by sin to their fellowship and concord. The reconciliation is mutual, i.e., it is not only that sinners toward God, but also preeminently that of God toward sinners, effected by the sin-offering Lord Jesus Himself provided, so that consistently with the other attributes of our Lord's 09 Fruit of the Spirit, His character His divine Love might flow forth in all its fullness of blessing to men (& women).

To conclude, the atonement may also be regarded as necessary, not in an absolute but in a relative sense, i.e., if man is to be saved, there is no other way than this which GOD hath devised and carried out (Ex 34:7 ; Josh 24:19 ; Ps 5:4 ; 7:11 ; Nahum 1:2,6 ; and Rom 3:5)

This is GOD's PLAN.
Clearly revealed to all who trust Him and believe in Him.
An it is not enough just to know, we must do and apply

With His Peace dwelling in my heart, there formed in my mind, so many good thoughts that i'm now going to share with you all,my dear CBC brethren;

1) Faith + Focus + Follow-through = Success And success is spelled ...W-O-R-K-s

Let Faith therefore, be in control of every decision we make and every action we take

2) Positive possibility is in our trust in the Lord;

not in wealth, qualification, position or worldly possession .

As a positive thinker, we are God's stewards. Not private owners of amass wealth or properties

3) CHRIST within us will help develop our inner-most potential for good in such a way that;

through pursuit of our God-given possibilities, we will become the person HE wants us to be !

4) Read all the self-esteem literature we can, but until we connect with our Creator - GOD, we are already missing the natural and normal connection most essential for our spiritual growth that GOD desires in us to experience His Closeness, divine presence daily in our walks with HIM;

w/o HIM our Solid Rock of God, to depend on we will not be able to stand but will be sucked deep into into Satan's sinking sand

Therefore,it is that solid unshakable foundation of our " I AM " more than each individual " i can " wrong spirit that blinded us.Remember the the great " I Am " the " I Am HE " and the mighty " I AM that I AM " Lord God Almighty JESUS CHRIST our Saviour !

DO NOT doubt dear brethren;
When i say to you in the revelation of the mystery and the symbolic ARM of GOD.
Allow me to draw your attention to the following passages in the Bible that says : HE , JESUS CHRIST IS SITTING ON THE RIGHT HAND POWER OF GOD.Matthew 26:64; Mark 14:62 / 16:19; Luke 22:69; Acts 7:55-56 ; Hebrews 1:3Colosians 3:1 and again Hebrews 1:3 ; 6:1 ; 10:12 and 12:2

In all honesty, i cannot blame you for not believing; cannot blame you for not receiving yet the wisdom and the understanding from GOD as all of you have yet been to the HOLY PLACE nor have witnessed HIS Saving POWER manifested in the holy sanctuary of HOLY PLACE; but be not dismayed my friend, for soon GOD WILLING, (james yap's earnest prayer - again, just a while ago in front of HIS Mercy seat); i have prayed and petitioned to God that GOD WILL establish HIS HOLY PLACE church in Kuala Lumpur for you all to enjoy.

THE ARM OF GOD; now let's together help each other to understand HIS WORD with no more doubts in our mind like doubting Thomas because many of us are "Thomas" in our present time, the more learned or knowledgeable you think you are; the more difficult for you to grasp this revelation and its application since many of you are relying your worldly wisdom instead of the Wisdom of GOD that you can humbly ask from God - for a child-like Faith with little hindrances to believe if you are truly a child of GOD and you will not doubt HIM if you truly regarded HIM as your heavenly Father applying what you utter not just lip service.

Most of us are born right handed right? Every time you apply force or use your strength you use your right hand right? If you think right you would have said with me; that's right! Same way GOD says HE is on/in the RIGHT HAND POWER of GOD. Very Clear and NOT so DIFFICULT to understand is it?

In Isaiah 53 verse 1 ; " WHO HAS believed our message? " and " And to whom has the ARM of the LORD been disclosed? "
Only if you dwell in the holy sanctuary of the HOLY PLACE where we observe HIS JUDGEMENT and JUSTICE, praying to HIM at 2am, 9am, 6pm as often we we do in order to receive HIS Admonition, Wisdom and Divine Guidance dwelling in the sanctuary of GOD the HOLY PLACE the extension of His Throne brought down from heaven for our safety and protection to gain divine revelation knowledge with power and authority to confound the world.

Just one verse one can already grasp so much of the revelation truth direct from JESUS; Only in the HOLY PLACE church have we believed, trusted and cling to this message without a doubt in our mind that JESUS IS GOD HIMSELF using HIS RIGHT HAND POWER in performing the MIGHTY WORK on CALVARY, conquering death and victorious over Satan and ascended to heaven on His Throne in the Right Hand Power of GOD HIMSELF Godhead of Father, Son and Holy Spirit three persons in ONE; the Oneness of GOD whose name is JESUS the name above all names the name that saves the only name that need be use in conducting our baptism service from now on and no more unbelief; haven't you all suffered long enough w/o knowledge lack of understanding?

The true meaning in the message contained in just one verse in Isaiah 53:1 a divine message of that which was revealed unto me just awhile ago from JESUS when i prayed that i discern there is unbelief among my brethren in KL esp CBC who had been preached upon and therefore received only carnal preachings so lacking in spiritual locked in worldliness and not open minded to what the HOLY SPIRIT is saying to you all most recently within your midst GOD using sister Yee Fay whose mouth GOD use to utter the prophetic word "REPENT" the very first WORD of JESUS and of John the Baptist when they commenced their ministries on earth, yet the earthlings so much in the world failed to recognise and hence rebel rejecting GOD's Mercy and Blessing. To continue in verse 2 of Isaiah 53; given the gift of God upon you you would now be able to receive and perceive what GOD is saying about HIS Salvation plan for earth HIS CREATION with all the created beings in it HIS HANDWORK therefore HIS Possessions.

Verse 2 says " For the Servant of God grew up before HIM that is GOD HIMSELF like a tender plant, and like a root out of the dry land (the nonspiritual world of Satan we all are born into; JESUS said you did not believe in ME you rebel against GOD's WILL, instead of obeying GOD and worshipping GOD, you worship the creations of GOD and chose to rebel and disobedient to GOD and wilfully chose to obey your father of this sinful world, the devil the serpent of old who is going to be binded by GOD and thrown into the lake of fire together with all of us who disobeyed GOD to obey the father of the world into eternal hell on earth ) To continue; Isaiah 53:2 "HE has no form or comeliness (royal nor kingly without pomp" Why? HE humbled HIMSELF to be in the flesh using a virgin maiden as an incubator to manifest HIMSELF in human form born in a manger in a stable where sheep or calf are born also forsaking all HIS Majestic Kingly status to dwell with us in order to save us JESUS Who is going to save the world!When HE reveal to us the TRUTH in HIM, HE was being despised by us rejected by us and forsaken by loved ones, friends in short by men, JESUS a Man of Sorrow acquainted with grief and pains; like ONE from WHOM men hide in darkness (as Adam and Eve hidden from GOD when GOD caught them in their sins) you and me w/o JESUS . Men hide their faces even up till today from the Living GOD wilfully stay in darkness when already THERE IS THE LIGHT of GOD prevailed utter disobedience. men did not appreciate HIS WORTH or have any esteem for GOD the Almighty.But GOD is wounded for our transgressions; HE was bruised for our guilt's and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain, peace and well being for us was upon HIM and the stripes that wounded upon HIM we are healed and made whole. With all that illustrations given above, can you all now not believe that THE ARM of GOD is what IT IS GOD RIGHT ARM extended down from HIS KINGLY THRONE HIS Extended RIGHT ARM down to HIS footstool (the earth we live in) Next opportunity, you pray, that you will be given to understand the sharing of my message THE MYSTERY OF THE FATHER, HE MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH THROUGH THE ARM WHOM we call THE SON of GOD Isaiah 9:6 with many more supporting Bible references you will get from me the next time around. So stay around and be not lost because you are to be in the world but NOT to be of the world if you'll apply what you already learnt.

A Scripture a Day send the devils away

Brethren,
Sharing with you what i receive today from the pulpit, a clear understanding with wisdom on Scriptures in Mathew 24:14 which says; " The Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the entire world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come"! Now many in the church today try to determine the nearness of Christ's return by reading the signs of the time. We see such signs in particular events - for example, the return of the Jews to Israel. Yet one of the clearest statements Jesus makes about His second coming is contained in this verse above: The end will come only after the gospel has been preached to all nations - as a testimony. The word that Jesus uses for "witness" is this verse as the same Greek word used in "testimony". It means, literally, "proof of the fact". Christ is speaking here of not just preaching the Gospel, but presenting it as a testimony. In short, He says, the gospel we preach is effective only if it is backed up by a life that testifies to its reality. Praise the LORD. You think that in America, a nation filled with thousands of evangelical churches, there would be a strong gospel witness? In one large southern city alone. there are over 2,000 evangelical churches, one with a membership upwards of 15,000 people. But many such churches have compromised the true gospel of Christ. Divorce is rampant in their congregations. And many of their young singles lead permissive sexually active lives. How could this be, you ask? The fact is, even with all the evangelical preaching in many of these mega-churches, there is very little testimony of Christ's Lordship in the people's lives to back it up.They are not a true witness to the city or the nation. Of course there are exceptions. I know of a handful of young ministers who've begun spending much time on their faces before the Lord. Now, when they deliver God's Word, they speak with power and authority. The gospel they preached is backed by a testimony of intimacy with Christ and a holy walk. And they're beginning to see the difference in the congregants' lives. I read about a Baptist pastor here in the southern state who at one time planned to build a huge new building. His congregation was growing rapidly and he'd begun studying the church-growth movement. But when the pastor's supportive wife began to pray to her husband's new ideas, she was stirred up to pray unceasingly seeking the LORD for divine guidance. The pastor notice his wife zealousness and joined her doing the same in holding a prayer-chain. The pastor quickly gave up his dream of huge numbers and began to be a testimony of what he preaches. For a recent sermon, the pastor set up a big screen at the front of the church. He told his congregation, "God's spirit has been speaking to me about the sins of this church. and today we are going to see them in front of our very eyes!" The pastor then flashed sin after sin on the screen - fornication, adultery, alcoholism, drug abuse, pornography. Then he began his sermon, "We are not about to start building a big church right now. We have got to get Christ's living tabernacle in our life straightened out first, before we do any thing else. We have to live this gospel first"! As the Spirit of God moves upon their repentance unto the Lord, people just flock to the Lord manifested in this church getting their lives straightened out - because they are hearing a gospel with a testimony behind it. You will be amazed and perplexed by the scores of ministers, young and old, running all over the places, looking for strategies to produce growth in their churches. Many preaches would attend seminars, conventions and "think tank" where these ministry professionals using charts and polls to show them how to build a large church. Other pastors flock to "revivals" hoping to learn new methods of how to have the Holy Ghost fall on their congregation. Dear beloved my dear brethren, it takes more than new ideas or strategies to touch nations for Christ. All our plans are in vain if JESUS isn't enthroned in every area of our daily living, we we do not bear good testimonies for JESUS to HIS Honour and for HIS Glory, Amen.

"If not the Scriptures, then I have nothing to say".
I said that before. If the subject statement pleases you, read on; If it does not edify, then cast it out, throw away the blessings.
Gospel of John, chapter 1 : 1 to 5 signifies that The WORD is in the Eternity and the Time1:1 ; " In the beginning was the Word "What was the WORD, WHO was HE ?
HE did not have a beginning. Because HE existed from all Eternity.As far as the human mind mind can go back, our LORD JESUS was there!HE never was created. HE has no beginning; a genealogy would be out of place in this Gospel of the Son of God.The Word was with God. HE has a seperate, distinct personality.HE is not an idea, not a thought, or some vague example, but a Real Person Who live with God. The WORD was GOD. HE not only dwelt with God, HE is GOD Himself.The Bible teaches that there is One God and that there are three Persons in the Godhead : The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. All these three Persons are God! JESUS CHRIST is GOD. And it is not enough to say that HE is "a god", that HE is godlike or that HE is Divine. The TRUTH is HE IS GOD!
1:2 Verse 2 is what may appears to be a mere repitition of what has been saidbut IT IS NOT. This verse teaches us that CHRIST's Personality and Deity were without beginning. HE did not become a Person for the first time as the Babe of Bethlehem. Nor HE somehow become a God after His resurrection, as some teaches today. The Truth is HE is GOD from all eternity.
1:3 All things are made through HIM. HE Himself was not a created being. Rather HE IS the CREATOR of all things This includes mankind, the animals, the heavenly planets, the angels, in short; All Things visitble and invisible!
Without Him nothing was made that was made. There are no possible exception. If a thing was made, HE made it.As CREATOR, HE is of course, superior to anything HE has created. All three Persons of the Godhead were involved in the work of creation: "GOD created the heavens and the earth" (Gen.1:1) "The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters" (Gen.1:2) "All things were created through HIM (CHRIST) and for HIM (Col. 1:16b)1:4 In Him was Life. This does not means HE possesses life.HE was and is the Source of Life. The word here includes both physical and Spiritual life.When we were born, we received the physical life but when we are born again, we receive the Spiritual life! Both come from HIM.The life was the light of man. The same ONE Who supplied us with life is also the light of men. HE provides the guidance and direction necessary for man. It is one thing to exist, but quite another to know how to live, to know the true purpose of life, and to know trhe way to heaven! The same ONE Who gave us life is the ONE Who provides us with the light for the pathway we travel.
There seven wonderful titles of our LORD JESUS CHRIST in this opening chapter of the Gospel of John. HE is called:-1) The WORD (v.v.. 1; 14)2) The LIGHT (v v. 5, 7)3) The Lamb of God (v.v. 29, 36)4) The Son of God (v.v. 34, 49)5) The CHRIST - Messiah (v. 41)6) The King of Israel (v. 49)7) The Son of Man (v. 51)The first four titles , each of which is mentioned at least twice, is universal in application. The last three titles, each of which is mentioned only once, has their first application to Israel, God's ancient people.
1:5 The Light shines in darkness. The entrance to sin brought darkness to the minds of men. It plunged the world into darkness in the sense that men in general knew nothing a bout God and rejected God. Nor wanted to know Him.So, into this darkness our LORD JESUS came - the LIGHT shining in world's dark places.The darkness did not comprehend the Light of God.This may mean that the darkness did not understand our LORD JESUS CHRIST when HE came into this world.Men did not realise WHO He was!Or why HE came. Another meaning however, is clearly given in the NKJV margin : the darkness did not overcome it.Then the thought wouild be that man's rejection and enmity did not prevent the TRUE LIGHT from SHINING.

Dear my brother:
-Earlier this morning in my sharing to all my KL brethren, I automatically included you so that you may profit from my sharing from now. After I'd prayed for you this morning, i feel led to share further with you one to one for your spiritual growth. I know in my heart your are seeking God to make you grow more stronger and more grounded to HIS WORD. Since God daily feed me so abundantly, i want to pass on to you to also benefit from my daily learning. Okay Leonado my brother? You who is of the same surname of my dear wife Vivian Chan, yours being Chen (the same surname) in Chinese.

This is what i want to share:-
Many people seek the goodness of God in the Bible. Many however became bored and lost their interest, became prostrated just because of the Bible's complex names of the biblical characters, the ancient places which are not familiar to us because we are living in the New Testament time and not the Old Testament. Also there are so many parables even with the New Testament which some of us chose to read hardly do we read the Old Testament for the obvious reasons.The real reasons are that we are unable to understand and therefore find it all so unclear because we could not keep up with the thoughts of its understanding that is being projected by God through HIS WORD.This is because GOD and HIS WORD is in the SPIRIT REALM so that we who want to seek HIM and to learn from HIM must first and foremost be prepared, be prayerful so as to be guided by HIM into the Spirit Realm the point that i earlier raised.
What is important is we must first have the right attitude in studying GOD WORD . What do i mean by that you'll ask me.And I'll make it more easier here so that you understand what i mean.

1. Learn WHO GOD is and know HIS Attributes that GOD is ONE and HE COMES from EVERLASTING.Read Mark 12:29 ; Deuteronomy 6:4 ; Habakkuk 1:12

2. GOD is LOVE. Read 1st John 4:7-9 ; Gospel of John 15:9-10

3. GOD is Merciful, Gracious, Long suffering and Slow to AngerPsalms 103:8 ; Exodus 34:6 ; Numbers 14-18 ; 2nd Peter 3:15

4. GOD can be a Jealous God.Read Deuteronomy 4:24 ; Exodus 34:14

5. GOD is Omnipotent, the Almighty.Read Genesis 17:1 ; 28:3 ; Revelation 16:14 and 19:15
Just these few references, you already learn of some of GOD's Holy Attributes.But just knowing is not enough. We must Apply what we already know; be a doer of HIS WORD not just hearer.
A) Know GOD's (remember by heart) Commandments and APPLY them.Bible references: Proverbs 8:8-11 ; 9: 8-11 ; Psalms 141:5 ; John 13:34 ; & 15:11-13 ; 12:26 ; and finally 1st John 2:3
B) Keep an open mind to receive HIM truly as our Saviour, and develop (ask HIM for help) a spiritual relationship with GOD our Maker.Read 1st John 5:1-5 ; 11-13 ; 17:20 then again the same book, 3:22-24 ; 3:7 ; 2:15-17
C) Now this is the challenging one to all of us. We are to find faith when there is no faith; find hope when there is no hope!1st John 3:3 ; 2nd peter 3:12-13 ; Psalms 119: 74-77
D) Learn the true facts of life; how GOD operates HIS Blessings unto the meek.Matthew 5:5 ; Psalms 25:9 ; Isaiah 29:19 & 61:1 ; 2nd peter 1:3-10 ; Mathew 11:29 and again Psalms 37:11
E) Learn to be inspired to lead a life that will be fruitful in GOD's Righteousness.Deu. 4:10 & 31:12-13 ; Psalms 119:71-73 ; Isaiah 1:17 Mathew again, 11:291st Corinthians 14:31
F) What's the benefits of knowing GOD ? A 10 million dollars question.Romans 11:29 ; Numbers 11:29 & 23: 16-17 ; Isaiah 65:13-14, 24.

Well my brother, this is more than sufficient for a day.When you have completed all that you are supposed to read up, pray and meditate on those you have learnt, ask GOD to help you to grow. Only GOD is Able to help you grow in HIS Statures. GOD is SPIRIT, how else do you worship HIM but in the spirit; In Spirit and in Truth, Remember.
GOD BLESS you in the reading of HIS WORD.

P2P Networking

Dari kemarin troubleshooting networking desktop ke notebook. Pusing dah gak bisa2; sharing files dan internet koneksinya. Cari-cari artikel di Google (udah normal uiii !!!), tapi belum ada yang bisa solved the problem.
Menggunakan ethernet crossover cable, desktop dijadikan gateway. Setting IP dan mask standart. Demikian juga pada notebook. Ping successful to both machines. Desktop dapat mengakses file pada notebook namun tidak sebaliknya. Desktop yang terhubung dengan internet tidak dapat menshare internet koneksinya. Berbagai coba2 setting dilakukan, berbagai saran dari forum2 di internet diikuti, namun tidak ada yang berhasil. Finally, saya coba tidak mengisi setting ip dan mask pada client (notebook) :
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties > Obtain an IP address automatically > Obtain DNS server address automatically > OK
IT's work !!! Susah2 ubah settingan dengan coba2 berkali2 ternyata windows XP sudah menyediakan cara mudah dengan automatically mendetect setting.
Pada Internet Option client juga : LAN Settings > Automatically detect setting. Gak usah pusing2 cari settingnya, windows sudah tau maksud kita. :)

Muaaacchhh .. miss you so much. Few days lost you felt like ten years! Many things I wanted to tell you. Kenapa ya jadi addicted to internet. Dulu waktu gak kenal internet, gak ada yang hilang atau dirugikan, sekarang seperti tidak pakai underwear. Huehehehehehe. Agak kesel juga baca pernyataan Dirjen Postel untuk mengajak puasa berinternet.
Terbiasanya kalau ada unsolved question langsung buka google. Aku gak bisa bayangin kalau suatu saat nanti jaringan internet hilang untuk selamanya. Back to past masa-masa cari jawaban atau ingin tahu tentang sesuatu langsung hunting di Perpustakaan daerah atau kampus. Berjam-jam bahkan berhari-hari mencari data sering tidak ditemukan dan hasrat ingin tau pun tak terpenuhi, yang berakhir pada sakit kepala, demam sampai muntah-muntah (Emang keracunan ... huehehehehe) ... Dengan internet, dalam hitungan menit bahkan detik, Gotcha ! I got the answer !
Mau post banyak-banyak (untuk memenuhi kerinduanku :P) tapi kini sedang diburu waktu persiapkan laporan dan lain-lain yang harus siap malam ini! It is weekend! Mau gimana, bos yang minta. Hikz hikz hikz. Maklum beliau sedang banyak masalah, jadi ya mau gak mau harus ikut bermasalah :P

There's no comment I posted due to the picture I receipt few days ago. Biar pembaca sendiri yang mengolah. Sama seperti posting di 360 saya beberapa bulan yang lalu mengenai trick hacking yahoo padahal sudah jelas2 dibagian bawah posting saya katakan jangan coba cara diatas, tapi kok masih ada saja yang mencoba, dan konyolnya user dan password yang diberikan is real dan memungkinkan saya bisa login ke accountnya.

tetapi betapa kecilnya kalau dibawa ke Mall untuk dibelanjakan!
Betapa lamanya melayani Allah selama satu jam;
namun betapa singkatnya kalau kita melihat film.
Betapa sulitnya untuk mencari kata-kata ketikaberdoa(spontan);
namun betapa mudahnya kalaumengobrol atau bergosip dengan teman tanpa harus berpikir panjang-panjang.
Betapa asyiknya apabila pertandingan basketball diperpanjang waktunya ekstra namun kita mengeluh ketika khotbah di gereja lebih lama sedikit daripada biasa.
Betapa sulitnya untuk membaca satu perikop dari Kitab Suci; namun betapa mudahnya membaca 100halaman dari novel yang laris.
Betapa getolnya orang untuk duduk di depan dalam pertandingan atau konser namun lebih senang duduk di bangku paling belakang di gereja.
Betapa sulitnya untuk menyesuaikan jadwalwaktu kita, 2 atau 3 minggu sebelumnya untuk suatu acara gerejani; namun betapa mudahnya menyesuaikan waktu dalam sekejap pada saat terakhir untuk event yang menyenangkan.
Betapa sulitnya untuk mempelajari suatu bab sederhana dari Injil untuk di sharingkan dengan oranglain; namun betapa mudahnya untuk mengulang-ulangi gosip yang sama kepada orang lain itu.
Betapa mudahnya kita mempercayai apa yang dikatakan oleh koran; namun betapa kita meragukan apa yang dikatakan oleh Kitab Suci.
Betapa setiap orang ingin masuk sorgaseandainya tidak perlu untuk percaya atau berpikir,atau mengatakan apa-apa, atau berbuat apa-apa.
Betapa kita dapat menyebarkan seribu lelucon melalui e-mail, dan menyebarluaskannya dengan FORWARD seperti api; namun kalau ada mail yang isinya tentang Kerajaan Allah; betapa seringnya kita ragu-ragu, enggan membukanya dan mensharingkannya, serta langsung klik pada icon DELETE.

It was terribly cold and nearly dark on the last evening of the old year, and the snow was falling fast. In the cold and the darkness, a poor little girl, with bare head and naked feet, roamed through the streets. It is true she had on a pair of slippers when she left home, but they were not of much use. They were very large, so large, indeed, that they had belonged to her mother, and the poor little creature had lost them in running across the street to avoid two carriages that were rolling along at a terrible rate. One of the slippers she could not find, and a boy seized upon the other and ran away with it, saying that he could use it as a cradle, when he had children of his own. So the little girl went on with her little naked feet, which were quite red and blue with the cold. In an old apron she carried a number of matches, and had a bundle of them in her hands. No one had bought anything of her the whole day, nor had anyone given her even a penny. Shivering with cold and hunger, she crept along; poor little child, she looked the picture of misery. The snowflakes fell on her long, fair hair, which hung in curls on her shoulders, but she regarded them not.
Lights were shining from every window, and there was a savory smell of roast goose, for it was New-year’s eve—yes, she remembered that. In a corner, between two houses, one of which projected beyond the other, she sank down and huddled herself together. She had drawn her little feet under her, but she could not keep off the cold; and she dared not go home, for she had sold no matches, and could not take home even a penny of money. Her father would certainly beat her; besides, it was almost as cold at home as here, for they had only the roof to cover them, through which the wind howled, although the largest holes had been stopped up with straw and rags. Her little hands were almost frozen with the cold. Ah! perhaps a burning match might be some good, if she could draw it from the bundle and strike it against the wall, just to warm her fingers. She drew one out—“scratch!” how it sputtered as it burnt! It gave a warm, bright light, like a little candle, as she held her hand over it. It was really a wonderful light. It seemed to the little girl that she was sitting by a large iron stove, with polished brass feet and a brass ornament. How the fire burned! and seemed so beautifully warm that the child stretched out her feet as if to warm them, when, lo! the flame of the match went out, the stove vanished, and she had only the remains of the half-burnt match in her hand.
She rubbed another match on the wall. It burst into a flame, and where its light fell upon the wall it became as transparent as a veil, and she could see into the room. The table was covered with a snowy white table-cloth, on which stood a splendid dinner service, and a steaming roast goose, stuffed with apples and dried plums. And what was still more wonderful, the goose jumped down from the dish and waddled across the floor, with a knife and fork in its breast, to the little girl. Then the match went out, and there remained nothing but the thick, damp, cold wall before her.
She lighted another match, and then she found herself sitting under a beautiful Christmas-tree. It was larger and more beautifully decorated than the one which she had seen through the glass door at the rich merchant’s. Thousands of tapers were burning upon the green branches, and colored pictures, like those she had seen in the show-windows, looked down upon it all. The little one stretched out her hand towards them, and the match went out.
The Christmas lights rose higher and higher, till they looked to her like the stars in the sky. Then she saw a star fall, leaving behind it a bright streak of fire. “Someone is dying,” thought the little girl, for her old grandmother, the only one who had ever loved her, and who was now dead, had told her that when a star falls, a soul was going up to God.
She again rubbed a match on the wall, and the light shone round her; in the brightness stood her old grandmother, clear and shining, yet mild and loving in her appearance. “Grandmother,” cried the little one, “O take me with you; I know you will go away when the match burns out; you will vanish like the warm stove, the roast goose, and the large, glorious Christmas-tree.” And she made haste to light the whole bundle of matches, for she wished to keep her grandmother there. And the matches glowed with a light that was brighter than the noon-day, and her grandmother had never appeared so large or so beautiful. She took the little girl in her arms, and they both flew upwards in brightness and joy far above the earth, where there was neither cold nor hunger nor pain, for they were with God.
In the dawn of morning there lay the poor little one, with pale cheeks and smiling mouth, leaning against the wall; she had been frozen to death on the last evening of the year; and the New-year’s sun rose and shone upon a little corpse! The child still sat, in the stiffness of death, holding the matches in her hand, one bundle of which was burnt. “She tried to warm herself,” said some. No one imagined what beautiful things she had seen, nor into what glory she had entered with her grandmother, on New-year’s day.

the only thing I always remember when I heard a name called HC.Anderson is the word says : Life is the most beautiful fairy tale of all!

Christmas tree

The Christmas tree first made its appearance in America in the middle of the 18th century, thanks to German immigrants. But a hundred years later it was still rare. In 1851 a Cleveland, Ohio reverend who had recently emigrated from Germany put up a Christmas tree in his local church. He was roundly condemned. Nobody before had ever put up a Christmas tree in an American church. Victorians in the latter half of the 19th century slowly began adopting the German tradition, but the Christmas tree remained controversial. In the 1880s the New York Times editorialized against the Christmas tree. When Teddy Roosevelt became president he denounced the practice of cutting down trees for Christmas. Good conservationist that he was, he declared the practice a waste of timber.

The origin of the Christmas tree is difficult to pin down as so many cultures had sacred trees. The Roman Saturnalia festival included the decorating of houses with fir branches. The Norse had Yggdrasil, the Great Tree of Life, which some contend is the original Christmas tree. Others credit the enemies of ancient Israel, quoting Jeremiah's condemnation of sacred trees in Jeremiah 10, verses 2-4:
Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are false. A tree from the forest is cut down, and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. Men deck it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move.

The Olympus E-300, also known as the Olympus EVOLT is the latest entry in a line of digital SLRs based on the "Four Thirds" standard developed jointly by Olympus and Kodak, first announced in fall of 2002. The first Four Thirds camera was the Olympus E-1 SLR, aimed at the professional market, but the new Olympus E-300 brings the Four Thirds system down to a price range accessible to amateur and "enthusiast" shooters. USAI Alda Rizma dikubur, kemarin Rabu, ada dua hal yang membuat merinding bak cerita versi sinetron religi, adalah munculnya sosok pocong di kamar hotel yang telah ditempati Alda cs hingga Alda meregang nyawa. Hal lainnya yang membuat tak percaya, kuburan Alda dikabarkan longsor karena dimungkinkan tanah kuburannya diguyur hujan. Benarkah?

Kamar hotel Gran Menteng, Jakarta Timur yang dalam dua hari ini jadi sorotan masyarakat karena disitulah Alda terakhir menghembuskan nafasnya. Dan kini kamar tersebut masih menyisakan misteri meski seluruh barang bukti telah diambil Polisi seperti jarum suntik, kondom, kapas bercak darah dan botol-botol minuman keras. Untuk keperluan pemberitaan, disorotlah kamar tersebut dengan seksama. Saat di kamar, kejadian aneh sebenarnya tak terjadi dialami oleh reporter atau kameramen yang tak mau disebutkan namanya.

Reporter itu mengaku kaget ketika rekaman diputar kembali dikantornya. Saat ditonton, dalam rekaman muncul sekelebat hantu mirip pocong. Kontan semua yang melihatnya merinding. Penampakan itu memang hanya sekelebat namun diaras jelas dilihat oleh mata. Dan sepertinya rekaman tersebut akan ditayangkan.

Pemilik nama lengkap Alda Risma Elvarini memang tergeletak tanpa nafas di kamar bernomor 432 itu. Dan kini kamar itu jadi misteri karena terus menjadi pemberitaan. Tiap hari, kabarnya ada saja wartawan yang menyambangi kamar tersebut untuk keperluan pemberitaan.

Bali is an Indonesian island located at 8°25′23″S, 115°14′55″E, the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands, lying between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It is one of the country's 33 provinces with the provincial capital at Denpasar towards the south of the island. The island is home to the vast majority of Indonesia's small Hindu minority. It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music.
Bali has been inhabited since early prehistoric times firstly by descendants of a prehistoric race who migrated through mainland Asia to the Indonesian archipelago, thought to have first settled in Bali around 3000 BC.[citation needed] Stone tools dating from this time have been found near the village of Cekik in the island's west.
The end of the prehistoric period in Indonesia was marked by the arrival of Hindu people from India around 100 BC as determined by Brahmi inscriptions on potsherds. The name Balidwipa has been discovered from various inscriptions, including the Blanjong charter issued by Sri Kesari Warmadewa in 913 AD and mentioning Walidwipa. It was during this time that the complex irrigation system subak was developed to grow rice. Some religious and cultural traditions still in existence today can be traced back to this period. The Hindu Majapahit Empire (1293–1520 AD) on eastern Java founded a Balinese colony in 1343. When the empire declined, there was an exodus of intellectuals, artists, priests and musicians from Java to Bali in the 15th century.
The First European contact with Bali is thought to have been when Dutch explorer Cornelis de Houtman arrived in 1597, though a Portuguese ship had foundered off the coast of Bukit as early as 1585.[citation needed] Dutch rule over Bali came later, was more aggressively fought for, and they were never ultimately able to establish themselves as they had in other parts of Indonesia such as Java and Maluku. In the 1840s, a presence in Bali was established, firstly in the island's north, by playing off various distrustful Balinese realms against each other. The Dutch mounted large naval and ground assaults first against the Sanur region and then Denpasar. The Balinese were hopelessly overwhelmed in number and armament, but rather than face the humiliation of surrender, they mounted a final defensive but suicidal assault, or puputan. Despite Dutch pleas for surrender, an estimated 4,000 Balinese marched to their death against the invaders. Afterwards the Dutch governors exercised little influence over the island, generally allowing local control over religion and culture to remain intact.
Japan occupied Bali during World War II during which time a Balinese military officer, Gusti Ngurah Rai, formed a Balinese 'freedom army'. Following Japan's Pacific surrender in August 1945, the Dutch promptly returned to Indonesia, including Bali, immediately to reinstate their pre-war colonial administration. This was resisted by the Balinese rebels now using Japanese weapons.
On 20 November 1946, the Battle of Marga was fought in Tabanan in central Bali. Colonel I Gusti Ngurah Rai, 29 years old, finally rallied his forces in east Bali at Marga Rana, where they made a suicide attack on the heavily armed Dutch. The Balinese battalion was entirely wiped out, breaking the last thread of Balinese military resistance. In 1946 the Dutch constituted Bali as one of the 13 administrative districts of the newly-proclaimed Republic of East Indonesia, a rival state to the Republic of Indonesia which was proclaimed and headed by Sukarno and Hatta. Bali was included in the ‘’Republic of the United States of Indonesia’’ when the Netherlands recognised Indonesian independence on Dec. 29, 1949. In 1956 Bali officially renounced the Dutch union and legally became a province within the Republic of Indonesia.
The 1963 eruption of Mount Agung killed thousands, created economic havoc and forced many displaced Balinese to be transmigrated to other parts of Indonesia.
In 1965, after a failed coup d'etat in Jakarta against the national government of Indonesia, Bali, along with other regions of Indonesia most notably Java, was the scene of widespread killings of (often falsely-accused) members and sympathizers of the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) by right-wing General Soeharto-sponsored militias. Possibly more than 100,000 Balinese were killed although the exact numbers are unknown to date and the events remain legally unclosed.[citation needed] Many unmarked but well known mass graves of victims are located around the island[citation needed].
On October 12, 2002, a car bomb attack in the tourist resort of Kuta killed 202 people, largely foreign tourists and injured a further 209. Further bombings occurred three years later in Kuta and nearby Jimbaran Bay.
Bali lies 3.2 km east of Java and approximately 8 degrees south of the equator. East to west, the island is approximately 153 km wide and 112 km north to south (95 by 69 miles, respectively), with a surface area of 5,633 km². The highest point is Mount Agung at 3,142 m (10,308 feet) high, an active volcano that last erupted in March 1963. Mountains cover centre to the eastern side, with Mount Agung the easternmost peak. Mount Batur (1,717 m) is also still active. About 30,000 years ago it experienced a catastrophic eruption — one of the largest known volcanic events on Earth.
In the south the land descends to form an alluvial plain, watered by shallow rivers, drier in the dry season and overflowing during periods of heavy rain.
The principal cities are the northern port of Singaraja, the former colonial capital of Bali, and the present provincial capital and largest city, Denpasar, near the southern coast. The town of Ubud (north of Denpasar), with its art market, museums and galleries, is arguably the cultural center of Bali.
There are major coastal roads and roads that cross the island mainly north-south. Due to the mountainous terrain in the island's center, the roads tend to follow the crests of the ridges across the mountains. There are no railway lines.
The island is surrounded by coral reefs. Beaches in the south tend to have white sand while those in the north and west black sand. The beach town of Padangbai in the south east has both: the main beach and the secret beach have white sand and the south beach and the blue lagoon have much darker sand. Pasut Beach, near Ho River and Pura Segara, is a quiet beach 14 km southwest of Tabanan. The Ho River is navigable by small sampan. Black sand beaches between Pasut and Klatingdukuh are being developed for tourism, but apart from the seaside temple of Tanah Lot, this is not yet a tourist area.

Pernyataan ini diungkapkan oleh Jim Hedger dari Webmaster Radio dalam sebuah Konferensi Strategi Mesin Pencari di Chicago, Amerika Serikat. Menurut Jim, Google mengalirkan dana tersebut melalui fasilitas Google AdSense dan Google AdWork untuk para anggota Al-Qaeda dan kelompok teroris lainnya. Seperti dilansir searchenginejournal.com dan dikutip detikINET, Jumat (8/12/06), kelompok ini beraksi lewat jaringan pertemanan Orkut yang tergabung dalam jaringan Google. Jim juga telah mewawancarai seseorang di wilayah Fallujah, Irak, yang mengaku bekerja sama dengan pemberontak Irak untuk membuat jaringan situs dan blog yang di dalamnya diberi iklan Google AdSense. Blog tersebut juga berisi dorongan untuk pembaca agar meng-klik iklan-iklan tersebut.Search Engine Journal mengungkap bahwa kelompok pemberontak ini berlaku curang dengan menanamkan program clickbot yang hampir sama kerjanya dengan click fraud alias pemalsuan jumlah akses. HP Pavilion dv6000t with Core 2 Duo Review

The HP Pavilion dv6000t had me intrigued well before I received this review model from HP. First, upon seeing pictures of the dv6000t, I was left thinking that it really did appear to be an exceptionally attractive machine, with its glossy black lid, subtly highlighted by a just-visible pattern of intermingling wavy lines, and a molded silvery bezel surrounding the black keyboard.
Second, every time I glanced at the Most Popular Laptops column on the left-hand side of the NotebookReview.com home page, I saw that the dv6000t was at the top, outperforming the number-two choice by a factor of two or better, and this has been true for some weeks now. Other websites also pay statistical tribute to the commercial success that is the Pavilion dv6000t.
The world of 15.4" consumer-oriented notebooks is a well-populated world indeed, but in its design and production of the dv6000t, HPhas managed to come up with a popular notebook that has been provoking buyer interest from the moment it was released, and then impressively sustaining this appeal.

First Impressions
My first in-hand view of the dv6000t really just explained the popularity and fuss. Based upon the components, I knew that it would provide top-notch performance, and the high-gloss finish throughout, together with the rounded corners and tapered height, really did make for a very fetching notebook. I was immediately captivated by the seeming absence of anything at all that might be viewed as a deficiency.
Design and Build
To sum up the design (and also to provide a point of reference), my own tastes in notebooks, on a purely visual level, have tended to lean toward Sony, Asus and Apple (though I'd never buy a white or mostly white laptop), but I like the appearance of the dv6000t as much as any from the fore mentioned manufacturers. Judging from the dv6000t’s wide popularity, I’d say other people like the look, as well.
Because of all these favorable impressions I began to look for something wrong with the dv6000t, and turned my attention to build quality. But even there I could find nothing to complain about. Did this notebook seem as solidly built as the old ThinkPad T40 I used to use? No, it didn't. But the reality is none of the eight or nine consumer and business notebooks I've used since the T40 have seemed quite as solid. I normally use a workstation-class notebook, the Dell Precision M65, and while it's true that the M65 seems somewhat more robust than the dv6000t, the latter notebook is by no means flimsy. There was considerable screen ripple when the LCD lid was pressed very firmly with a finger, indicating some room for lid strengthening, but on the other hand I carried the notebook around with one hand countless times and found no evidence of flex or weakness. In the end, I had only one real issue with this notebook: a higher resolution, such as 1440x900, would have been nice, but only 1280x800 is available. And it did take a fair amount of wiping with a damp, soft cloth to keep the shiny components truly shiny, and free of fingerprints.
Graphics
The Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 is a mid-range notebook GPU and should offer plenty of graphics power for most users, including those who plan to upgrade to Windows Vista and turn on all the enhanced visuals. In my opinion, the 7400 (along with its various cousins and competitors) offers a nice mix of price, power consumption and performance. What the Go 7400 won't do is play all the latest games at the highest settings, but the same can be said of all but the most expensive notebooks on the market; a top-level gaming machine will cost double or triple the price of a well-configured dv6000t. There are, however, some very nice laptops at the $1500 to $2000 level (in other words, at least several hundred dollars more than a well-appointed dv6000t), and these will get you to a level just below that of a true gaming machine.
Sound
The built-in Altec Lansing speakers are quite good (with the usual qualifier: “for a notebook”). Clarity is exceptionally strong at high volume, which is where most notebook sound really degrades.
Processor and Performance
This was my first experience with a Core 2 Duo CPU, the T7400 in this case. (Please note: while this review model contains the T7400, the T7200 is the highest available Core 2 Duo CPU when configuring the dv6000t on HP's website at the moment) The T7400 never faltered, happily zipping along while simultaneously scanning for viruses, calculating Pi to 32 million digits, surfing the Internet and editing an OpenOffice.org document or two. This is very similar to my experience with the Core Duo T2X00 processors, which also performed like champs, but the Core 2 Duo will get you 64-bit processing, which will eventually be useful.
Benchmarks
The T7400 took less than a minute to calculate pi to 2 million digits of accuracy, using Super Pi:
The dv6000t's keyboard was very comfortable with respect to size, layout and the actual pressing of keys, which are really the only things I ask of a keyboard. No complaints here at all. The touchpad worked just fine, too, and can easily be disabled by the press of a button, which some may find convenient. Above the keyboard is a thin line of media controls, blue-lit sensors that can be touched to mute the speakers, adjust their volume, or perform various other media-related functions. These are very handy for a quick mute, say, though they do beep rather loudly and I never bothered to try to disable the beeping. And finally, centered just above the LCD, is a webcam, which I tested and found to be working well enough, though it was a matter of seconds before I tired of looking at myself.

Berhenti Merokok dengan Kekuatan Otak

MUNGKIN setiap orang tahu bahwa merokok berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Merokok juga bisa menjadi pintu gerbang menuju narkoba. Seorang perokok bisa lebih mudah menerima narkoba dibandingkan dengan yang tidak merokok.

Namun, hingga kini jumlah perokok tidak berkurang. Dari beberapa survei, kebiasaan merokok dimulai dari usia anak-anak dan remaja. Mungkin karena itu seorang perokok merasa sulit untuk menghentikan kebiasaan merokok, karena sudah bertahun-tahun melakukan kebiasaan buruk itu. Rokok sudah menjadi bagian dari hidupnya, dan dia merasakan kenikmatan dari merokok.

Banyak orang telah berusaha berhenti merokok. Ada yang bernazar kalau berhasil berhenti, ada yang mengulum permen untuk menggantikan rokok. Ada pula orang yang melakukan banyak aktivitas untuk melupakan keinginan merokok.

Dari beberapa penelitian selalu ditemukan bahwa 70-80 persen perokok mempunyai keinginan untuk berhenti merokok. Ada yang telah tiga sampai empat kali mencoba, tetapi belum berhasil juga.

Menurut dr Aisah Dahlan, Kepala Unit Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Selapa Lemdiklat Polri, kebiasaan merokok sangat sulit ditinggalkan karena rokok mengandung zat nikotin yang bersifat adiktif (ketagihan) bagi tubuh. Walau adiktif yang dikandung rokok tidak seberat adiktif pada narkotika dan obat-obat berbahaya (narkoba), zat adiktif rokok sangat sulit dilepaskan.

"Ada beberapa alasan mengapa kebiasaan merokok sulit dihilangkan.

Pertama, rokok itu legal. Perokok merasa tidak melanggar peraturan dengan merokok. Mereka bisa merokok di mana pun tanpa takut akan ditangkap. Hal ini berbeda dengan narkoba, di mana pecandunya harus bersembunyi untuk menikmati narkoba," kata Aisah.

Kedua, rokok bisa dibeli dengan mudah di mana pun. Bahkan di warung atau kafetaria rumah sakit pun rokok bisa dibeli. Harga rokok juga cukup terjangkau.

Ketiga, perokok melihat yang merokok tidak hanya dirinya, tetapi banyak orang. Mereka merasa tidak bersalah karena banyak orang melakukan hal yang sama.

"Selain itu, ketagihan rokok masih bisa ditunda. Maksudnya, walau mulut terasa asam, kepala pusing, atau tanda-tanda ketagihan lain muncul, seorang perokok masih bisa menunda keinginan merokok jika tempat atau waktunya tidak memungkinkan untuk merokok. Berbeda dengan narkoba, di mana kebutuhan tubuh akan narkoba tidak bisa ditunda. Tingkat ketagihan yang ringan ini membuat orang memandang enteng akan bahaya ketagihan rokok," jelas dokter yang aktif memberikan konseling dan penyuluhan soal narkoba ini.

AISAH mengakui sangatlah sulit untuk menghentikan kebiasaan merokok. Namun, kebiasaan merokok itu bisa berhenti kalau perokok mempunyai motivasi diri untuk berhenti merokok.

"Ada cara yang mudah dilakukan untuk berhenti merokok, yakni dengan mengandalkan kekuatan otak. Atau dengan kata lain, menata ulang pikiran bawah sadar. Caranya sangat sederhana. Pertama, kita mengatakan kepada diri sendiri bahwa kita berhenti merokok dan kita hidup sehat. Hal ini bisa disebut sebagai afirmasi diri atau niat," kata Aisah.

Kalimat yang dikatakan pada diri sendiri haruslah mengandung 3P, yakni personal, present tense, dan positive. Maksudnya, kalimat itu harus memakai kata saya (personal), dengan menggunakan struktur waktu saat ini (present tense). Jadi, mereka yang ingin berhenti merokok itu tidak menggunakan kata-kata ingin atau akan. Mereka juga harus menggunakan kata-kata positif (positive), bukan dengan kata-kata tidak atau jangan. Contohnya, saya hidup sehat.

"Alam bawah sadar lebih menerima kalimat positif seperti ini dibandingkan kalimat yang menggunakan kata-kata negatif seperti ’saya tidak ingin merokok lagi’," jelas dia.

Setelah itu, bayangkan niat tersebut tidak dalam kata-kata, tetapi pada kejadian. "Jangan bayangkan tulisan ’saya berhenti merokok’. Tetapi, bayangkan kejadian bahwa saya telah berhenti merokok dan saya hidup sehat karena tidak merokok lagi. Bayangkan apa yang didapatkan dengan hidup sehat tanpa rokok," dia menambahkan.

Proses afirmasi dan membayangkan ini harus dilakukan lima kali sehari dan minimal selama 21 hari. "Namun, sebelum melakukannya, tubuh dan pikiran kita harus dalam keadaan nyaman dan tenang. Gelombang otak berada dalam gelombang alfa, di mana otak merasa santai dan rileks," jelas Aisah.

Cara berhenti merokok dengan mengandalkan kekuatan otak ini juga melatih otak kanan dan otak kiri bekerja seimbang. Proses afirmasi dan membayangkan menjalankan kedua fungsi otak. Otak kiri yang antara lain berfungsi untuk analisa dan bahasa digabungkan dengan fungsi kreatif dan imajinasi dari otak kanan.

"Dengan menggabungkan fungsi kedua belah otak ini, pesan yang disampaikan ke diri kita 10 hingga 60 kali lebih cepat sampai," ucap dia.

Aisah yakin kekuatan otak sangat membantu perokok yang ingin berhenti merokok. Bahkan, cara ini bisa juga dipraktikkan pada keinginan-keinginan yang lain. Kalaupun dia tidak berhasil menghentikan kebiasaan tersebut, mungkin karena usahanya yang tidak cukup kuat, setidaknya dia akan merokok dengan santun. Misalnya, tidak merokok di tempat umum atau dekat dengan orang lain yang tidak merokok.

"Ingat, semua rokok dan narkoba yang berasap berbahaya bagi orang-orang di sekitarnya yang tidak merokok atau tidak mengisap narkoba. Risiko yang dihadapi mereka sama besarnya dengan perokok atau pecandu narkoba," katanya menegaskan. (ARN)

The combination of heat and anonymity is a powerful aphrodisiac in this resort town in Bali. Sex whispers in the tree leaves at night, it vibrates in the bass of techno that drugs the discos. But it's not really sex, more of a humid hedonism, the electricity of heat lightning. Sensual, but not sexual, two different states too often confused.

There's the fumbling drunk guarantee of a good time in clubs where Australian surfers and surfie chicks go, because Kuta is their Fort Lauderdale. But that's fast-food sex from a drive-thru, it's Kuta but not Bali. Bali is the brown navel of a Brazilian girl swaying, hips straddling midnight and sunrise. A solipsist who knows figments of her imagination are watching in the mirror.

I traveled to Indonesia to write about sex, specifically, the sex between older Australian women and "Kuta Cowboys", young Indonesian gigolos. Shhh...the guys don't like it when you use that word. They are boyfriends, they insist, they're not just paid for sex. The story might have a happier ending if sex was the only thing the women wanted.

But, you know women...some of us think sex should be wrapped in love. That's the package these women buy, and the cowboys have learned to sell it that way. It may be a shoddy parcel in the cold light of reality, but Indonesia is a Third World country with poor electricity, so it's hard to see what you're getting. Bali is seductively dim; even when the power's on, it's the flattering flicker of candlelight.

The cowboys "hunt" at Kuta Beach sprawled on the sand near dusk, when it's early enough to "make a promise" to meet a woman later that night. The women have just started to apply sunscreen when a cowboy trots over. April is a low season for tourists and competition is fierce. Many of the boys are with minnows, but they hope to fry fatter fish.
"I like the older women because they have more money", says a 21-year-old gigolo who calls himself Montana.

"We say, 'No money, no honey.'"
The young ones just want to party. The old ones are nice, they take care of me and give me massages. I not care if her body's old. We say, 'A face like Italy, a body like Toyota.' I tell the woman she's the only one, because otherwise it sounds cheap." Montana pulls out a wallet thick with snapshots of the only one from Sweden, the only one from Australia and the only one from France.

The cowboys say falling in love is a hazard of the profession, but through on-the-job training, they've learned to avoid that trap. "I don't give love anymore because I was hurt by one girl who said she was coming back and never did," explains 24-year-old Made. "If the woman says 'I love you,' I say 'Me, too.' I lie because I care."

Made is courting four women scattered around Europe in hopes that he'll win a trip there. After they return home, many women wire money that the cowboys use for rent and clothes, and some pay for a flight so he can visit. If a boy is really good, Santa gives him a marriage license, a one-way ticket off the island. That's what the boys really want - our paradise is their purgatory. Newspapers in Bali are cluttered with ads placed by university graduates seeking jobs, and former economics majors can be found hawking necklaces on the street.

Most of the Indonesians won't consider a local girlfriend. The cowboys claim they aren't attracted to Balinese women because "they're too naive and just want a rich boyfriend."
"Besides, I like the blonde hair, the blue eyes," Made adds, before chasing after a Japanese woman in a tiger-print bikini. The cowboys are blind to every color but green and any tourist resembles an ATM machine.

Not every woman goes to Bali to shop for a souvenir boyfriend, but one usually winds up in her suitcase. Sally is a married 36-year-old nurse from Queensland who brought her teenage daughter to Bali as a graduation present. She and the daughter were at a local disco one night when the singer came over and sat with them after a set. She thought the 26-year-old musician was after her daughter until he invited her to his room that night.

"When I met Matt, it was the best sex I'd ever had," Sally says. "That part of my marriage had just died and I thought, maybe this is all I need - an overdose of sex! My husband and I had had problems and I guess at the time I didn't feel very good about myself. I wanted to feel better by doing something for someone else. And I guess there was the thrill of being with a younger guy, she continues. "If someone offers you a new car or a secondhand one, which would you choose? Especially if the secondhand one is falling apart?"

She really wants to know what I think, so I ask what kind of mileage the used one gets. I don't tell her this, but I'd probably take the secondhand car because I'm not into that shiny, prancing kind of new vehicle. Which is exactly what her boyfriend is, and it only takes one flick of his mane to see.

When Sally returned to Australia after meeting Matt, she assumed it was a resort romance with an expiration date attached. But when she called Matt from overseas, she was "charmed by his smooth talk." She sent him money for airfare to visit, not sure if the funds would be used for a ticket. As he stepped off the plane, Matt didn't recognize Sally because he was so strung out on heroin.

She had no idea Matt was a junkie. So Sally did what any nurse in love would; she straightened her Florence Nightingale cap and weaned him off the drug.

Sally estimates she's spent nearly $7,000 on the relationship since meeting Matt six months ago. She paid for the ticket to Australia, an apartment, food, bought him an expensive guitar and clothes, and paid for them to fly back to Bali and go to Java to visit his family. Now she's flat-broke and returning to Australia in a week. But Matt really, really needs a motorbike and does Sally think she can put it on her credit card before she goes? Pretty please?
"When Sally leaves, it will be hard not to see other women because I'm a man", Matt says. "I want to marry Sally. I think this is forever, because I get everything I want now."
"Right now I'm thinking, 'What have I done?' " Sally says, lighting a Marlboro.
"I've lost my marriage, my kids and my house because of Matt. My oldest daughter says, 'I don't know what you see in him, he's just a parasite.' I try to talk to Matt about it, but he doesn't want to listen, he doesn't understand." There's definitely something there," she's quick to add. "I mean, I'm in love. It's been exciting and adventurous. But my life in Australia is so different and spending all this money is totally out of character for me. It would have been more economical to have met an Australian guy!"

Sally sighs and drags on her cigarette when asked what she gets from the relationship. "Well, I hold the purse strings, and maybe I'm a person who likes control. Sometimes I feel like I'm his mother. Matt says to me, 'You're my guardian angel, you saved me.' That makes me feel good. You know, in retrospect, I would have been quite happy to be by myself", she adds. "But then I met Matt... and it just sort of happened..." She trails off, like she wishes it wasn't too late to return Matt and get her money back.

Jean is a 49-year-old ex-farmer's wife from Western Australia who's been living with her 25-year-old boyfriend Heri for four months. She and Heri are like teenagers, giggling and arm-wrestling with each other. While we talk, she flips through photos of herself and Heri partying, and shots of Heri grinning impishly after Jean dressed him as a girl.

Heri proposed to Jean three weeks into the relationship, but Jean said no. "I want to marry Jean and live in Australia because I can work there", Heri explains in stilted English. "If I stay here and marry an Indonesian girl, I think I have less of a future."
Jean doesn't want to rush into anything, nor does she want Heri to feel he has to make a commitment, because she can't give him children.

"From Heri, I get a lot of happiness, love and affection", Jean says. "I was married very young, at 17, and my ex-husband wasn't a demonstrative person. He was very busy with work and I felt like something was missing. With Heri, I'm finding I can express myself more freely. For the first time in my life, I'm independent. Heri has taught me to like myself for who I am and not what I look like. Sometimes I feel a bit insecure, like, 'Why should a young, handsome man be interested in me when there are so many nice-looking young girls around?' Heri says it's because he loves me. He knows I haven't got a lot of money", she adds. "I know about the Kuta Cowboys, but Heri has proven he's not like that. But can you ever really know how they feel? They think that because they say they love you, that's enough. Heri is so quiet and his English is limited. Heri said, 'I've got nothing to give you.' I told him that I may buy his cigarettes and food and put a roof over his head, but he doesn't realize how much he's given me. Before, I felt unattractive...I felt fat", she says, pinching the skin melting from her arms. "With Heri, I feel young. He makes me feel alive."

POSTSCRIPT: A lot of people in Bali and the States asked what I think of these relationships, and I'm still sorting through that rubble. Before I started interviewing, I thought it was about time for some role-reversal. Why shouldn't older women have sexy young boy-toys?

But with these relationships, there was a dump of emotions involved. The women heard what they wanted to hear....and the gigolos can say "I love you" in seven languages. When a man goes to a prostitute, it's a quick exchange of cash and bodily fluids. Why do women think they have to play Mother Earth? Why do they feel compelled to justify the relationship with that noble notion of love? Who cares if he loves you if the attention makes you feel attractive? Who cares if he loves you if the sex rocks? I still believe the women have nothing to be ashamed of, as long as they recognize the situation for the walking, quacking duck that it is!

Terngiang soundtrack serial Meteor Garden, tiba2 aku jadi rindu suasana pulau Batam. Sudah 4 tahun di Bali, begitu banyak perubahan dalam hidup, seperti drama yang indah. Di Batam dulu aku cuma butiran pasir tak bermakna, sisa2 masa lalu yang kelam membuatku putus asa dan tiada tatapan untuk hari esok agar lebih cerah. Kini aku bukannya aku yang dulu lagi.
